About Transvox
Transvox is an automatic transcription service. It receives audio or video — either as an uploaded file or a link to a supported platform — and returns a text transcript.
Supported sources
- Audio and video files: MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, MP4, WebM and other common formats
- Links from YouTube, RuTube and VK
Processing options
- Over 90 languages — the source language is detected automatically
- Speaker diarization — the transcript can label each speaker separately when multiple people are present
- Subtitle alignment — output can be structured for subtitle timing, suitable for SRT export

Carefully orchestrated, fully self-hosted
Transvox is built on a careful orchestration of proven technologies. Every component runs on our own infrastructure — no audio or transcript data is ever sent to external cloud processing services.
- All processing happens on our own servers in Russia — data never leaves our infrastructure
- No dependency on external API providers for transcription or any core processing step
- Full control over the pipeline lets us optimize quality, latency, and reliability independently
Privacy & data
Your data stays in Russia
We fully comply with Federal Law No. 152-FZ on Personal Data. All data is stored exclusively on servers located in the Russian Federation.
- Audio files and transcripts are stored on SpaceWeb and Yandex Object Storage — both in Russia
- We never sell, share, or transfer user data to third parties
- Audio and transcripts are automatically deleted 1 year after upload
- Account deletion removes all your personal data, including stored files
